A bespoke keepsake when you want their real chapter.

For multilingual families

More than one language in one little heart.

Some children hear Brazilian Portuguese at home, English with a parent, and other languages at school. That can feel confusing — and it can also be rich. Pip & Ponder never maps hard feelings to countries. We help kids name a feeling in the languages of their real life, with a grown-up close by.

  • Up to three languages together on one page — or one language at a time
  • Every feeling can have more than one name
  • Grown-up prompts for the adult who is holding them tonight
  • Confusion gets a chair: normal, nameable, not a flaw

We empower children who live between languages — so every part of home can belong.

The Worry with a Pocket-Sized Chair

Meet the two who make room

Pip tries.
Ponder listens.

Pip is a quick-footed rabbit who likes one small next step. Ponder is a gentle bear who never rushes a feeling away. One brings courage; the other brings calm—and neither needs a child to be cheerful all the time.

Good questions

Before story time.

Are the digital stories really free?+

Yes. All ten Pip & Ponder feelings stories are free to read on this site, in fourteen languages, with family language modes and grown-up prompts.

We speak more than one language at home — how do we use this?+

Set up your family’s languages (optional). You can read two languages together on one page, or one language at a time. Hard feelings are never tied to a country — only given more names, so children who live between languages feel less alone.

Are the languages just translations?+

No. Each language is adapted to sound cute, warm and deep for young listeners—so Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Arabic feel like real children’s literature, not word-for-word swaps.

What makes the books “deep” for a 3-year-old?+

Depth does not mean long words. It means telling the emotional truth simply: feelings carry information, two things can be true, and asking a grown-up for help is a kind of strength.

How do personalized illustrations work?+

The $80 bespoke story includes original story writing, up to ten custom illustrations, a digital proof, one review round and one printed keepsake. Your photos guide faces, clothes and meaningful details.

Are my family photos kept private?+

The on-page preview stays on your device. Before production begins, you must confirm you have permission to use the photos and authorize their use solely as visual references for your book.
